We would like to share with you these top dogs who will travel the globe to compete in the Second Annual Eukanuba World Challenge being held in conjunction with the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship on December 13th & 14th, 2008.

If one of your breeds is listed as a competitor and you are also attending, we welcome the opportunity to have one of our local breeders play "host" to one of their fellow enthusiasts. You could help one of these International Guests by being "A Eukanuba Breed Smart Partner". They might need assistance in finding a grooming space, the need for a grooming table, since many won’t be able to travel with one, or just a chance to show the rest of the world how great the American Breeder/Exhibitors really are. The following breeds originally assigned to Mr. Ellis Hulme will now be judged by Mr. Reinaldo (Rey) Burgos: English Toys Spaniels (B & PC), English Toy Spaniels (KC & R), Papillons, Pekingese, and Pugs.

Mr. Hulme’s assignment for the Asia and Oceanic Section of the Eukanuba World Challenge will now be judged by Mr. Andrew H. Brace.

Exhibitors can mail, fax or phone in entries to Onofrio as of midnight October 18th. Entries can be sent in advance of receiving the invitation. The Onofrio Online System will be ready to accept entries as of 6 am Monday, October 20th, 2008. The Premium List is available on both the AKC and Onofrio websites.

Entries may now be submitted to Onofrio Dog Shows for the following eligible dogs. Please check back for an announcement for when the balance of eligible dogs may enter.

• Entries can now be submitted for all eligible dogs ranked in the top 15 as of the 1st of October.
• In addition entries can also be submitted for all eligible International entrants.
• Entries for the remaining invitees will be acceptable as soon as event processing allows.

Photo Submission for the Website - Photographs can be mailed to our office or sent as a digital file via email to akcipictures@onofrio.com. Digital files must follow the requisite guidelines in order to be accepted for use. Refer to page 18 of the premium list for full details. Photographs of dogs must include the dog's name, breed, owner's name, and the registration number or international registration number if foreign. Junior photographs must include the Junior's name and AKC Junior Showmanship number. ALL photographs, regardless of their submission path, are required to include the associated information in order to be processed and listed along with the entry in the catalog. Only those photographs that have an entry in the show will be listed in the catalog.

ADVANCED TICKET SALES NOW AVAILABLE - Tickets can be purchased in advance through the Long Beach Convention Center’s ticket office or Ticketmaster. Each exhibitor will receive one general admission ticket for both Daytime and Evening per entry. Additional tickets may be purchased in advance or on the day at the box office.

All World Show Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex winners from the 2007 and 2008 events will be eligible for entry. These winners* must contact Michael Canalizo at: mlc@akc.org for an invite. A downloadable form is available for those with eligible dogs.

* Must be an AKC recognized breed in order to compete at the National Championship.

This listed was added - Puppy/BBE Breeder/Owner/Handled Qualifiers. These dogs have completed their Championship with all points Breeder/Owner/Handled with wins from the Puppy and/or BBE Class.
